Residential Custom Doors with sidelight glass do not have as much depth in the structure of the doorframe support as Standard Doors that are supported by double 2×4 studs. We designed a shorter pin extension wecured with a stainless steel fastener. This reinforces the doorframe without breaking into the sidelight glass. Use the same installation kit as for the standard system; just don’t drill as deep!
